4.0 out of 5 stars least best tyde album, but still 4 stars!!!, 9 Oct 2006

This review is from: Three's Co. (Audio CD)
for beginners, go find Tyde's 1st LP 'once' an absolute understated modern classic. I don't understand musical technicalities but that don't matter when music is this natural, beatiful, and dare i sat it -heartbreaking.Second LP 'twice' also gets a five star rating, but just - 1 track 'surfboard city' grates n makes me wanna skip, this happens a couple of times on their new LP'threes co.'(depending on my mood)but the good songs are more than that! 'Seperate cars, Glassbottom lights, ltd appeal, Aloah breeze, I don't need a leash - absolute quality tunes, songs n vocals. If you like the wasted heartbreaker voice of Bobby Gillespie with a kind of spaced-out keyboard n peddlesteal backdrop that plays timeless sunshine pop - you'll be getting close - buts that's just part of their sound - though the best part!!!! One complaint: 'I dont need a leash' needs 5 mins of the same added!!! check em' out n tell yr friends, that way they might tour the UK!
