5.0 out of 5 stars Insightful
I brought this on sheer instict and I'm sure glad I did. This DVD is so insightful and intriging without being preachy and over bearing. The hearfelt story of the Beloved Prophet unfolds wonderfully well and is contrasted with modern day American muslims going through there own trails and tests. Its a fresh approach on the much loved story and hits home on every level...

1.0 out of 5 stars Blind Leading The Blind.
I felt a great sense of beautification was taking place while I was watching this. Muhammad the Prophet is perfect, wise, a diplomat, merciful and peaceful. A perfect man and a perfect Prophet.

Yet this is not an objective documentary. The stories or history of Muhammad are never questioned. This film is for liberal American Muslims. It has no relevance at all...

Sat down and watched this with my children and we all learned a lot from this DVD.

Passed it on to my non-Muslim work colleague who found it extremely informative

Fourteen hundred years ago, a humble merchant who

could not read or write changed the face of Arabia. His

name was Muhammad. Today, his influence has spread

to every corner of the world including the United

States... This is his story. And the story of millions of

Americans who revere him as God's final prophet.

It has no relevance at all with what is happening to the religion in the Middle East or Africa.

This film is not at all what it professes to be in the title. The real legacy of Muhammad is global and very obvious for all to see.

This film is sickening obvious in it glorification of its subject. Muhammad's wars and battles are necessary and just. Muhammad's execution of 700 people was necessary. Polygamy is an act of faith. The list goes on. There is one unashamed commentator that finds a positive in absolutely everything whether it is considered controversial or not. In fact the film tries to steer clear of anything controversial.

This is far from an objective documentary and for that reason should not be called one.
