4.0 out of 5 stars Nightmare Castle/Track of the Vampire, 7 Mar 2011
This review is from: Track Of The Vampire / Nightmare Castle [DVD] (DVD)
For anyone who read my review of The castle of Blood, I actually meant the Roz Williams reference to pertain to Nightmare Castle. As for the filmography, the same is true in Nightmare castle as to the aforementioned. This, however, is quite an original convoluted little story here, that makes for an interesting plot. No vampirism, but a mad doctor and some ghosts.
Track of the Vampire is very strange indeed, with its 1960's girly film fetishism gratuitously inserted at one part. Again, you can't fault the plot for originality and surrealism. You may be scratching your head after this one, but in a good way.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Double Feature., 21 Nov 2010

Track Of The Vampire is the better print with a great performance by William Campbell. Lori Saunders makes a welcome appearance . The print of Nightmare Castle is inferior. It's a shame they could not have found a better quality, still, they are worth owning until a remastered version appears, which is highly unlikely.
