4.0 out of 5 stars Better then people make out
i think the other reviews here are unfair, if you enjoyed the first game then this is definitely worth having. It's true that the AI don't use the naval units much in skirmish but you still can. The best part is the new mercenary units which were a very inventive idea and add a whole new element of tactics to the game. Admitedly, i would have liked to have seen another...

3.0 out of 5 stars A Word of Warning...
This is not so much a review, although I can tell you that the expansion is not bad at all, so much as a caution. The new naval units are quite entertaining, and add an interesting new dimention to the game. However, there is no AI coding at the moment for them, so they can only be used in missions, where the AI is scripted, or multiplayer. If this is on the box I must...

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Act of War: High Treason (PC DVD) (Video Game)
If you have played Act of War Direct Action do not waste your money on this as its easily the worst add on disc I have ever played. The game play and design looks as if it has been created by the original designers teenage sons so different does it feel from the original. Please avoid
