5.0 out of 5 stars OMFG GREAT!
I got this phone yesterday and its really good. Oh yea, And if you go on camera and it upside down when you rotate it, its not faulty. just press the up module on the left of the phone. :) Its an absolutely great phone. 3G, 262k screen, Bluetooth, Video Capture, VGA Camera, MP3 Player, And more!!!
Its worth the £130 seriously! And it looks smarter in real life!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice little phone..., 17 May 2006
This review is from: Samsung Z140v - Vodafone - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone - Free Weekends Offer* (Electronics)
Ok, so the battery only last about 3 days...who cares??? Simply recharge it every few days before you go to bed and it's ready to go in the morning!!

The mp3 player is very impressive, and although the memory capacity could be a little bigger (it's around 60MB) all in all the sound quality is great.

The camera is decent, and you can record videos upto an hour long, which is also another plus.

The games it comes with are mostly trial (1 level only) games and so that is one negative that I have uncovered, however all the other great little features make up for that loss. For instance, the cool little rotating camera, and slick design make this phone worth every penny!

5.0 out of 5 stars Briliant Phone - I Highley Recommend It, 3 Jan 2006
This review is from: Samsung Z140v - Vodafone - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone - Free Weekends Offer* (Electronics)
This phone is absolutly brilliant. It is packed full of high quality features for example: Godd quality camera, Long video recording (if you change settings you can record for around 1hour), bluetooth and Infared.

Best of all, if you get this phone then you will be on vodaphone (z140'V') that means you will have 'vodaphone live' witch enables you to look for music tracks, wallpapers, video footage and also allows you to check all different kinds of sporting results(all for free!). Also on mine I have free sky for a month, and the quality of it is awsome.

This phone is a must get, an for the price I can see no better phone.

I bought this phone for my daughter and I must say that I am very impressed with the style and the features. However, it has been a headache trying to get her favourite tunes (mp3s) onto the phone (see below). First the positive points: Easy to navigate through menus, Bright and vivid display screen, Rotating camera, Bluetooth compatible, over 40Mb user memory and overall it looks and feels good. The PC interface software (and USB driver) is easy to install and the application is easy to use – just drag file from your hard disk and drop them into the phone folders.
It also has an MP3 player but as I said that’s when all the head scratching started. When trying to send an MP3 file to the Sounds folder on the phone (either through the software or via Bluetooth) the phone refuses to recognize the file as a music file. In the end I had to convert the *.mp3 file to a *.m4p file (using iTunes) then rename the file using the extension *.mp4.
So with the *.mp4 files (AAC) on the phone you can listen to them through the phones speaker or using the (supplied) stereo earphones, but you can’t select them to use as ringtones! However when I send a music file from my K700i to the Z140v (via bluetooth) it stores it in the ringtone folder and hey presto you can select it as a ringtone!

This phone is fantastic the setup is just like any other samsung phone, easy to use. It has a great rotatable camera for picturing your self and what ever else you fancy, as this phone is 3g you can video phone your friends and download the latest video clips. if i had a budget of 100 pounds to spend on a phone this would be the one i would go for, its great value for money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Only 1 disappointment with the phone, 29 Jan 2008
This review is from: Samsung Z140v - Vodafone - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone - Free Weekends Offer* (Electronics)
The battery doesn't last that long but its not a problem if you regularly charge it at night and in the morning - Plus i've seen many friends go through so many mobiles and I'm still on my first.
I've had it for more than 5 years now and its still working perfect.
I'll definitely buy another 'Samsung' model again - but when i'll need another mobile I don't know. This phone has made all my family members buy a Samsung phone. I'd highly recommend you buy this phone if your looking for a new mobile it'll last through thick and thin.

4.0 out of 5 stars great phone, some glitches, 28 Sep 2006
This review is from: Samsung Z140v - Vodafone - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone - Free Weekends Offer* (Electronics)
Well, to start off I only just got this phone a few weeks back and to tell you the truth i'm pretty pleased with it!! Its great value for money, it has Bluetooth, which is what you must have if you are serious about your phones - allowing you to send photo's, videos, ringtones etc FOR FREE to and from other phones equipped with Bluetooth. The Mp3 player is very classy and produces high quality sound which is unbeatable, the videoplayer can record up to an hour and records very good quality videos.

The drawback of this brilliant little phone is the battery - in my own experiences the battery life is pretty short - after charging it for a good few hours after first recieving it, I found that it didnt last for very long, about 5 or 6 hours. I thought it was only because I hadn't charged it properly but after charging it for 16 hours, it only lasted for a day. I agree with Matt that the battery only lasts a day so if you are prepared to charge it EVERY NIGHT then its absolutely fantastic otherwise!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Samsung Z140, 29 Mar 2006
This review is from: Samsung Z140v - Vodafone - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone - Free Weekends Offer* (Electronics)
Received my Z14 as an upgrade 10 days ago, its going back tomorrow. Its a lovely little phone, but the battery is so poor and the camera is naff Whats the point in having a 3G phone i you have to put it into 2G to get the battery to last longer? (it last for 2 days - my phone is on 24/7) Also the camera has no flash! I previously had a Sharp GX30I which was an outstanding phone, I've got a Motorola V3i on order after reading the reviews on this site, however if i don't get along with it, that will be going back and i will stick to my beloved sharp! I will look into the 3G phones again next year, when perhaps the battery life has improved on them!!! But for now, i would steer clear!!
