5.0 out of 5 stars I am not sure if he actually plays them
I have played Martin guitars for years now and the favourite is my OM42.

These strings have come down in price and they give the 42 an excellent balanced sound with a good clear treble and a deep, quality bass. There is nothing quite like the sound of a new set of strings on a Martin and these are good strings, especially at these prices.

"D" String broke during tuning. In 20 years playing and fitting strings I never had this happen to me before. Vendor was polite but never got into refund mode. Will stick with my usual Ernie Ball Earthwoods from now on. Clapton should take his picture off this product - he can't need the money.

These are fantastic strings that sound unbelievably warm. But, they do fade very quickly be wary of that, however well worth trying out.

The right gauge for us and we use them on dreadnaught and travel sized guitars in our house. They've a nice tone and seem to last a good length of time. What more can one ask for?

play mostly fingerstyle every day at home and change my strings every six months. Never break and keep tune, for me no problems i am not a recording artist or on stage pounding the guitar and they provide a great sound on my 2nd hand tanglewood Tw1000 :-)

Very good. My guitar has a rather high action which makes for sore fingers but the sound from these new strings makes it all worthwhile.
