Utada Hikaru wrote this song and it was used for the game Kingdom Hearts II. "Passion" is the Japanese version which I believe is much more cohesive than the english version "Sanctuary". It is a much more serious affair than KHI's "Hikari / Simple & Clean" with complex electronics and a rockier edge to it but I adore the stomping drum beat and the multi layered vocal treats thrown at us.

Also on here is the "After the Battle" version which is a vocal and keyboards mix which then suddenly bursts into a half song instrumental at the end like you get with a stats update after an RPG battle. Unique, even if we don't get a full instrumental.

Bottom line is this is a top class effort and if you like this piece you will love Utada Hikaru's "Ultra Blue" album.

This is for you, the song Passion with two versions is unforgettable and has the right stuff in it. These are amazing, outstanding songs with something for everyone.
