Anticipation of what this little pump could do was more than exceeded. It inflated and delated a single air mattress in less than 30 seconds. What an absolutely brilliant little piece of kit. Noise isn't a factor really (think low power hair dryer) even if it was to be used for a sustained period. Top marks all round!

When i got the airbed, i got it with the footpump (that was hard wrk good exercise lol). the sidewinder was god sent, inflates in minutes a little noise but compared to the few minutes it takes to inflates a double bed that little noise is nothing to whine about. great product.

Plug it in, fit the adaptor, turn it on, and leave it. Effortless inflating of big items. Best thing about it though is the deflating function. You try folding a 4 person dinghy down to the box size without it. Using this pump as a deflator makes it really easy to pack up to original size.

Works well - is quick and efficient. Early days but seems reliable and effective.

I was amazed how fast my double airbed was pumped up - in less than 2 minutes. The noise is as loud as a vacuum cleaner but because it doesn't take long, it's okay.

If you need to inflate an airbed quickly in the privacy of your own home, this is probably just the job.

But if, like me, you want to inflate a big paddling pool outdoors, then you will need to go for something more industrial - and, if you like your neighbours, more sophisticated.

It took over twenty minutes to inflate our paddling pool - OK, I grant you, the paddling pool is eight feet long. And in the process of inflation the quiet of our summer suburban garden was disturbed by the insistent whine of its motor: what this pump lacks in puff it makes up for in din. Like a hair-dryer on steroids.

It is also oddly designed to have no flex between the outlet and the nozzle (as, to be fair, the picture of it shows). So this means you will spend those tiresome twenty minutes holding the pump to your pool like a fool, while the kids keep trying prematurely to clamber in, and the neighbours (which thankfully you can't hear because of the whine of the motor) are shouting at you over the fence to turn the damn thing off.

You get what you pay for. And in this case it's joy with a small inflatable; and misery with a big one. Make of that what you will.

Ordered this to go with a double-sized airbed, and have been very impressed, despite its small size. It has all the right adaptors, works well and relatively quickly, not too noisy either, and by switching the adapter round to the top nozzle you can deflate very quickly too.
Good bit of kit - recommended.

I bought three Gellert airbeds to use in a new house before it was furnished and am very pleased to have purchased this at the same time! The beds inflated in a couple of minutes using this (I never tried to inflate them manually)

I have a double size inflatable mattress. This pump fills it in a few minutes and is easy to use, good quality and perfect for the job.

Good value - works well. You can pump air in & also suck air out.
Very pleased with this unit.
