I have to say that I rate this as equal to The Floating World , which featured Allan Holdsworth .
John Etheridge really is at least Holdsworth's equal , certainly more varied and with a greater "feel" .
His work with Stephan Grapelli , and with John Williams is indicative of his versatility and class .
Holdsworth is , well , Holdsworth , you get the same thing all the time ,which is great if you like him , but can lack variety at times .
Overall a very good effort , and with the usual top class playing with this era lineup( particularly John Marshall , who along with Tony Oxley , must be the best British drummer ever ), it is never less than musically adept.
