This album is just simply astoundingly good. The band for some reason are not as well known as some other bands who quite frankly could learn a thing or two from these guys. The band managed to combine, Descent riffs with the Heaviness of band that are not normally as commercial but here the band have manage to take the riffs of the less commercial bands combine with a bunch of simply brilliant performances and production to great a very solid unique cross between commercial and proper heavy music. The band utilise elements from lots of different genres it is a real wonder why they haven't become much bigger than they are. You need to hear it to really understand. Pretty much ever track has a HUGe catchy riff in it that is still bone crunchingly heavy the vocals dwell in and out of different styles of roaring, growling, screeching and singing It is like it Killswitch engage add some progressive metal to their repertoire

Happened across this band by accident and I have to say I absolutely love their style. A great blend of singing styles and awesome guitar riffs. Definitely worth a buy. Its a shame tjey are no longer together as they make fantastic music.

This is without doubt as good as/better than The Fundamental Component. The guitarists have really gone to town on this, and the drumming is superb. Lots of really good guitar solos and a helluva lot of hooky riffs that'll be stuck in your head for weeks. If you like TFC then buy this album. If you haven't heard Byzantine but enjoy metal, buy this album!
