My three year old 'Thomas Fan' loved the aqua draw mini-mats. The activity needed little, if any, supervision so he could draw and colour while mummy made tea or fed the baby.

The four mats held his attention for 20-30 minutes at a time.

We bought these and the winnie the pooh mini mats for our 2 year old before we went travelling and they were a great success. No mess, could pull them out anywhere, and reuse them within a short period of time. In fact we stopped using the water pen that comes with the set, instead using a normal paint brush dipped in water (easier for less coordinated little hands to spread a lot of water and bring the colours up faster) or just finger painting using any available glass of water. They were great for times we wanted to stop and have a coffee and occupy a little one for 10 minutes or so. Handy to pull out on planes too.

My little one is nearly 2, and he adores these - they're like the bigger aquadraw version, so the pens only need water, but this time when you 'colour' the picture, the colours come to life. When it dries, the colours fade to clear again. They're great for travelling, restaurants, etc... the pens provided are mini versions too!

Our 2 year old got these for Christmas and he has spent hours and hours on them in the past month. He will colour them in and then go away for 1/2 an hour and do it all over again. It is great as he doesn't need to be supervised and each time is as exciting as the first. Some days he will use the water pens then other days he prefers to use a paint brush with water on it. We highly recommend this as a cheap toy.

This is a great product and my 3 yr old just loves it ...I bought the 4 Winnie-the-Pooh ones as well ..and the 8 sheets keep him occupied for hours ...

Its very compact and best of all uses just a water pen. A water brush can be used instead of the pen as the pen is a tad too small and needs to be re-filled regularly...

These went down very well in our house. My son loves that Thomas "magically" appears when you draw on it.

They last well, and keep the kids amused for a good half hour.

My only problem is, the actual pen doesnt seem to last very well - the nib gets a bit horrible. Also, the pens could be a little bit longer so that they hold more water. I seem to spend a lot of time re-filling them!

Very pleased with this item though - excellent mess free play!

I bought this for my 2 year old girl as a Christmas present, to help with a long 11 hour flight. She really enjoyed this more than I thought she would.

My son received these as a gift several years ago. Still uses them in the car, at restaurants etc as easy to fit into handbag/play bag. Just try not to bend them and they'll last for years!

My 2 year old son loves it and because you use water, and not ink, its safe to play with anywhere. Just dry out and re-use again and again. Not seen mini mats this cheap anywhere else.

Bought these for my 18 months old son, he loves them. The water pen is perfect size for his little hands. He can learn to draw without making a mess.
