5.0 out of 5 stars Supercharged Turbocad
If you desire to enter the world of CAD then you really cannot go wrong with this product. The software is very user friendly and the manual is brilliantly simple to read. It does help if you have some idea of technical drawing, plans, elevations etc and it helps to have an idea of geometry but if you are prepared to practice a few simple exercises (in the book) then it...

1.0 out of 5 stars More useless than a chocolate teapot
I am familiar with technical drawing and other drawing programmes. I bought this software on the basis of the one glowing review, however, I found no connection between the description and reality. There was NO tutorial to speak of, NO exercises, the manual is written in pure 'geek speak'. The architectural function I wanted it for is all in imperial dimensions that have...

It does help if you have some idea of technical drawing, plans, elevations etc and it helps to have an idea of geometry but if you are prepared to practice a few simple exercises (in the book) then it won't be long until you wondered how you lived without this tool. Finally and not least of all the price is excellent VFM.

I have used several versions of TurboCAD and we love. It is potentially difficult to use if you have no CAD experience, and the instruction manual is typically confusing for people like me with little patience, however after a few painful hours you get used to it.

Now I find it intuitive and extremely professional... It is great that it is compatible with AutoCAD and I can highly recommend it. Also a great price compared with a lot of other CAD programmes.

There was NO tutorial to speak of, NO exercises, the manual is written in pure 'geek speak'. The architectural function I wanted it for is all in imperial dimensions that have not been used in the industry for decades. Many hours spent in trying to crack it have resulted in stress damage to my health!!!!!
