I was very disappointed with the quality of this item and did not feel it was value for money. The fabric is thin and cheap quality, the cut and finish is poor and mismatched. I did not want to go ahead and wrap for xmas as I was so disappointed. That said however I did and my 2 boys love it and have played for hours in it. We do however take great care when putting on and off so as not to pull or stretch to avoid ripping.

i got this for my 4 yr old for xmas and he has enjoyed playing in it. it is too big so he'll prob still be playing in it when he's 6 if the top lasts that long! it all unfinished around the edges so it's starting to ladder and fray - all it would take is a simple line of stitching all around the hem which i'll prob do myself to help it to last. saying that the print on it is very good and detailed. overall it is fun but don't expect quality for the price.

This item was bought as a Christmas present and I was very impressed that it arrived in time, despite the inclement weather conditions we suffered. However, by Boxing Day the costume looked like a tatty rag. The material, on first glance was light weight and silky. However, the cuffs and along bottom of the tunic were not sewn, so frayed almost as soon as it was put on, and laddered up the sleeves and the body of the garment. I was very disappointed as the two piece costume was very basic and not good value for money at all. I know how demanding children are when they want something, but please take my advice and stay away from this costume. You'd be better off making a home made one.

The costume is what I thought it would be - material isn't fantastic however it's for playing in & not hiking up a mountain! My boy got it along with a light saber & has excellent fun - only thing to note is the sizing - he is a tall six however you can only get 5-6 which is small or 7-8 which is huge - let's just say, he's growing into his!

I felt the attention to detail could be a bit better. There is a sash at the back to pull the costume in but it is in white fabric so the printed-on 'belt' design is only on the front. A brown sash would have completed the 'belt' look all the way round.

The 'boot' covers are also small and won't fit over my son's feet - they could do with being made larger and then can be cut down for smaller feet. I might have to cut the feet off altogether though and I'm going to try and find a leather belt to put over the top which will look better.

I'm sure my 4 year old will be thrilled anyway!

The costume is "ok" - just. But I had read the reviews before purchasing, so I was aware of the inflated price, and poor quality of the garment, in advance. So I can't say that I wasn't warned. With Faschings rapidly approaching, I had few choices, when it came to selection and price. The costume with fit the purpose that it is made for. How long it will last? Not long I would expect, given the poor quality of both the material and sewing.

This is a lovely costume and good value for money, but the sizing is generous. I ordered the medium for my eight year old and he has to have the trousers under his armpits, which we then hold in place with a belt! It does still look good though as tunic length doesn't really matter.

After just one wear on his birthday, it was very dirty (cake, mud etc) so I hand washed it and gently rubbed the soiled areas. The print has almost entirely come off. The belt & the neckline is just bitty pieces of rubbery print and it looks horrible. Very disappointed.

Bought, separately I might add, from the robe, but looks good on the young Jedi that likes to run around taking down the Dark Side. He's happy, I'm happy. Job done.

Bought for my 5 year old son. He loves it but at nearly £18, it's a waste of money. The material is thin, the edges have frayed after the first wear and the knees on the trousers have holes. The seams have come apart and I spend a lot of time trying to prevent further fraying. It goes beyond general wear and tear as despite only wearing it a few times, it's pretty much ready for the bin b
