I first heard the music when my son was playing his x-box.I bought the album and for the first time in ages I sit and just listen to a piece of music rather than use it for background. One word describes this work for me, beautiful.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must buy, 23 Sep 2005

Its wonderful. You cannot ask for better music. Its a perfect blend of asian and electronic music but the best thing is that it retains the original soothing character and does not hurt as electronic music sometimes can.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely splendid., 15 Aug 2005

This album has an excellent sound - MP's superb Asian thang enhanced by the intelligent use of modern studio's toolkit creating atmospheres of timeless beauty and wonder, compelling rhythms and sub-continental vibraphonics. Nice. Hearing it I am impressed with the quality and I think of stone and silicon. The Artistes' name reflects this perfectly. Most of the tracks are upbeat with a strong content of that (to my English ears) amazing Asian sound, easily on a par with Black Star Liner and Joi. Track 5, 'Rebirth' with A. Shankar, is a gorgeous and dreamy Indian chill. It's a great album and you should not hesitate in your purchase (or borrowing) if you want something different of quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning!, 28 Oct 2005

This is an amazing album. It is deep, haunting and perfect for settling into a drum beat Indian vibe. The more I listen the better it becomes. What to expect? Pulsing drum beats mixed with glorious vocals on songs like '136' and 'Raanijhan' which are awesome, but then slow sitars and atmospheric sounds from the first track - 'morning' show a different chilled vibe. I am really impressed with these guys and look forward to future releases. Give this album a chance - you wont be disappointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sublime, Beautiful Album, 12 Dec 2006

The best album i've heard in a long time... Every track is a winner in terms of style & content.

There isn't many times when i've heard an album on which every track i can listen to , without skipping.

100% times better than Talvin Singh & Nitin Sawhney.

These guys from Delhi know how to mix East & West better than westerners!!!

I'd say they're the Indian version of FSOL (Future Sound Of London).

BRILLIANT....Can't praise this album enough!!!
