5.0 out of 5 stars Found It!!!!
I knew it would be on here if I looked hard enough. Don't waste your cash on the other version. This definitely is worth shelling out any amount of hard earned money to get hold of, because it has the original version of "House On The Hill" on it, and extra tracks such as "Man On Box" "Paper Round" and the brilliant "Leave It Unsaid". You will not believe how marvellous...

3.0 out of 5 stars Very Strange
This album should have been a "must-have" for Audience fans, new and old, but for some strange reason the track listing has been altered, hence the 3 star rating. My version of this has several extra tracks on it, including the original of the seminal Audience classic "House On The Hill" which has no drum solo in the middle, and is somewhat shorter because of it, (but...

You will not believe how marvellous the original version of "House" was, and it was only contractual hassles and record company arguments that made this gem disappear until being unearthed and re-issued by someone with taste (and brains). It was very rare, very sought after and is the reason why "House On The Hill" was re-worked for the eponymous album. It became a classic part of their live set; expanded on stage. If you are a fan of this band and have "Friends'", "House" or "Lunch" or just browsing for old Prog Rock acts then this is a MUST!!!

This album should have been a "must-have" for Audience fans, new and old, but for some strange reason the track listing has been altered, hence the 3 star rating. My version of this has several extra tracks on it, including the original of the seminal Audience classic "House On The Hill" which has no drum solo in the middle, and is somewhat shorter because of it, (but lacks none of the atmosphere or brilliance of the reworking). Weak tracks are "Poet", "Harlequin" and "Maiden's Cry", but the rest are Audience through and through. This is their first attempt at distilling their essence on disc, and because it is late 1969 stuff it has dated a little. Try to find the version with "House On The Hill" song on it if you can, and then you will have an epiphany and a classic album. Without it, this disc only deserves a 3 instead of a 5!
