Great value for money - does what it's meant to do. Have used it to connect my video camera to my PC and it all works fine. No complaints!

Product very simple to install and worked immediately. I was a little concerned about the need for the Windows CD for the PC as it is 'mislaid', but it wasn't needed. Brilliant cheap solution to downloading video to PC.

Cheap but a total waste of time & money as the cable simply didn't work at all. Maybe I was unlucky with this particular one but I guess that you get what you pay for so I would suggest that you don't buy it.

I would recommend buying the Belkin cable instead. The Belkin is shielded, much better made and has worked without any complications, at least for the 6 weeks that I have been using it.

Correct plug types, 1.8m length (including plugs). Works perfectly (Canon Camcorder -> Sony HD/DVD Recorder). Very good price. There are probably more robust versions available - but this one is perfect for home use.

good piece of kit for transfer of movies from video camera very easy to use and fast. This is what preceded the usb cable. ensure you get the correct number of pins

Bought this to connect my DV camera to my laptop. The cable didn't work so was useless. I expect it was just a one off bad luck. Cost so little I could be bothered sending it back. Bought another one from someone else and that worked fine.

For such a cheap firewire cable it actually works. I have no point of reference, but i did successfully manage to adjust the settings on my professional camera, which did not accept any modification with usb connection. wouldn't bet on it being a high performer, but for the price it's fine.

Ordered a second one of these as they were such good quality and so cheap there was no need to share a cable between two cameras - was amazed that the already ludicrously low price had actually reduced 5p in a week! These would be a tenner in PC superstores

Ordered this product. Arrived in good time. It is long, strong and quite durable. I would definatly recommend this product to any one looking for a firewire cable
