I won a signed copy of this on Pure Dance Sky radio........Great single, I got my copy before it was in the shops and can't wait till the album coming soon hopefully! Hall & Oates get the makeover and one of the best remix of old tunes in 2004. You kick it Uniting Nations.............Hopefully coming live soon!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Stomping Hall & Oates Cover!!, 7 Jan. 2005
This review is from: Out Of Touch (Audio CD)
Well, I think it's safe to say folks that the 80's are back in fashion. First was Eric Prydz's Call On Me, and hot on the heels of that comes this funky, cheesy, catchy track by Uniting Nations, covering Hall & Oates's Out Of Touch.
For those of you who don't remember the original, you will find it on the sound track to Grand Theft Auto : Vice City! This cover found its way onto the airwaves a few months ago, and was playing in all the clubs in my area from about October. It's a stomping track, with insanely catchy synths and a bassline that makes you turn up your stereo. It's a little bit cheesy maybe, but who cares....
IT'S FANTASTIC FUN!

5.0 out of 5 stars Dance is dead.. long live dance!, 23 Nov. 2004
This review is from: Out Of Touch (Audio CD)
So with the recent chart success of Eric Prydz's Steve Winwood sampling 'Call On Me', it was only a matter of time before a multitude of 80's related spin-offs came about. 'Out Of Touch' is one of the better ones, having first done the rounds as a white label in the early part of this year. As other people have said, it's catchy - and you can't help tapping your feet and humming along to it.
Whether you remember the original or not, a good song will always be a good song - and Uniting Nations have done a great job of updating an 80's dancefloor classic and bringing it into the 21st Century.
Will an album follow? Will we get any more remixes of tunes from the Vice City soundtrack (which is where the original idea came from)? We'll just have to wait and see. One thing is for definite though, Uniting Nations have come up with a winning formula - and are ones to watch in the future!
