5.0 out of 5 stars debut from a hot new act, 6 Nov 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: London Bridge (Audio CD)
dogs are one of the newest bands to be coming out of britain and this is their fist single which is the double a-side of london bridge and end of an era. london bridge, named that because of where vocalist jonny wrote the song is a piece of guitar rock maybe from similar vain of oasis but more indie. the other track, end of an era, is about your feeligs when your girlfriend leaves you for another guy and what you think of him, particularly with joony's booming growl of 'oooo what a wanker'
first time i saw dogs was when they were touring with razorlight and they almost managed to top razorlights set with their support act. they really were something else live and guitarist ricky was completely lost in the music.
Dogs promise a lot from this single. Cant wait for an album!!!!
