This works well as a corkscrew, unfortunately the device on it to cut off the foil around the cork broke on the second day we used it!

Great product, so easy to use even my parents can use it! It makes opening a bottle of wine quick and easy - great!!

It's one of the cheaper lever arm corkscrews but unfortunately it fails the test of time. It looks quite smart, with the foil cutter slotting neatly into the stand and when new it works very well.
However mine is now 7 months old and it has stopped working. The corkscrew worm just rotates in its housing and it won't pull the cork out. The spare worm supplied does the same as well.
Finally the foil cutter is completely blunt, again after only 7 months. I have a couple of working cutters which are several years old - they've not blunted like this one.
So just one star - it looks good and works initially, but soon stops working.

When I placed my order on the internet, it was delivered two days later now thats what I call service. This is the easiest corkscrew that I have ever purchased, you can open your bottle of wine in the matter of seconds with very little strength required. If you are a wine lover, this is the gadget that is a must.

This product is passing itself off as made in Britain but in reality is a fake made in China. The front of the packaging said Sheffield but in small letters on the rear of the packaging it was Made in China. It is very poor quality, not solid metal and was defective when it arrived: the inner barrel was adrift. Should be discontinued

i have brought several of these there a really good corkscrew i brought one for my parents who always loose corkscrews thought this would be perfect as it comes in a presentation box and is large so they can not loose it.
as they loved theres so much they asked me to order 4 more for other members of the family for christmas and it was very well received by all.

Considering the amount of wine I drink I should have got one of these years ago. Its so simple and gone are the days of broken corks. If you like your wine, buy this cork screw.
