5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Selection of SEAL's work
Great album. I have enjoyed SEAL's music since the early 90's but anybody looking for an introduction to his work has found the perfect compilation. As a fan of SEAL I was disappointed that this collection did not include 'Newborn Friend' from his SEAL II album but all the other main ones are here really....
Interestingly I play the bonus acoustic collection cd more...

3.0 out of 5 stars Diverse
An interesting greatest hits work. The album spans from the early tracks such as 'Killer' to his less commercial recent work. The album opens with the hit 'Crazy', a downbeat dance track with its familiar beat and Seals empowering vocals. It is not until you hear the distinct sound of his frosty voice that you remember just how good a singer he is. He flows gracefully...

5.0 out of 5 stars Contenders!, 1 Jan 2005
There are precious few contenders in the category of Adult Pop/Rock/Dance. Two definite contenders are Seal and New York City based Recording Artist Amber. These Artists acheived career highs in 2004 with the release of their latest CDs: "Best: 1994-2004" and "My Kind of World", respectively. Seal and Amber have in common that they release Modern Pop/Rock CDs that appeal to Adult CD Buyers. Both CDs contain genre bending tracks with artful, mature lyrics that speak to those who've "been there, done that". Standout tracks on the Seal CD include "Crazy", "Kiss from a Rose" and one of the best Pop Songs of 2004: "Love's Divine". Amber's CD contains the #1 "You Move Me", the Whitney Houston Meets Anastacia Power Ballad "Sacrificial Lamb", the Pat Benatar-esque "Just Like That" and her latest Single "Voodoo". Billboard Magazine in it's glowing review of "My Kind of World" said that Amber "deserves a spot in the mainstream". Right beside Seal! My advice? Get BOTH Seal-Best and Amber - My Kind of World.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not The "Crazy" You Hoped For, 3 Dec 2010

This review is from: Best 1991 - 2004 (U.S. Version) (Audio CD)
OK, this album needs little introduction or disecting, as we all know who it is and what the songs are, so I am only going to write this review to let others know that the "Crazy" on this album is an extended version that sounds very unfamiliar with the song we are all used to hearing on the radio/TV etc (ie: the single version).

Other than that, all is as expected from Seal: Good stuff, top quality and best vocals. A true legend.

(I've only given it a 1-star rating to easily alert others to this info, that would otherwise be indistinguishable amongst all the other reviews)
