A simplified version of Monopoly. The game is much better for children than adult Monopoly: there is virtually no strategy and so who wins varies with each game played. The money is better for children: coming in denominations of £1, £2, £3, £4, and £5. The game is excellent at teaching children how to count and a game only lasts about 20 minutes. Excellent!

Our three children received this as a present one year ago. The 5 year old played with it daily for a month and even now it still has a regular outing, and although the 12 year old would prefer the adult version, she's still happy to play. Educationally its good for easy counting. There are only £1,£2,£3,£4 and £5 and the cost of the property is the same as the rent, until you get both of the same colour and then its doubled. At first our 5 year old used to find it a bit tricky to work out which notes to hand over, or how much change to give, but he soon got the hang of the maths. All the property is based on fairground rides and attractions, and is brightly coloured. Excellent

This is an excellent children's game. One die. A fun way of getting a (about) five year old to practise their counting. My only gripe is that it could make a child want to play the real Monopoly when they grow up. The fools.

We've been using this to teach our children about money and budgets. It's been very successful and the children enjoy the game greatly. We find that we have to put a time limit on games as they can last a couple of hours if no-one goes bust sooner!Small denominations are good for younger children to count. The simplified rules are also a great help but it's enough like the full version not to be too boring for the adult banker! Highly recommended for the very cheap price!

My daughter received this as a gift for her sixth birthday. As her sister is only one, we have only played twice (as we can only play when sister is sleeping) and although it is very enjoyable, I suggest you grin and bear it as the game can go on quite long and do not try and win to get it over quickly, as I am still labelled a 'cheater'. This game is educational, not too boring for the playing adult but can go on for a loooongish time.

Brilliant game for younger children to enjoy Monopoly. Our children loved it and so now do our cousins. Shame it appears to be no longer available new.

A brilliant game for the whole family to enjoy... having played a couple of times, my five year old daughter is hooked.A great game to teach children about early money management skills, a subject that is not very well taught in the English Educational System. I also agree with another reviewer here, who mentions that if you have a strong-willed child, then you may need to tread carefully, otherwise there may be a few tears at the end of the game... so a hint to parents to keep their competitive spirit at bay!!

I had played this game with my older daughter (9years) a few years ago and thought it was brilliant. We have recently got it out of the cupboard again to play with my 4 year old daughter and they both loved playing it. We played it as a family which I hadn't done before and it did last longer, but that was fine. It didnt take my younger daughter long at all to get the hang of it. I am just about to buy one for my neice for her 5th birthday.

This children's version of Monopoly was difficult to find in the shops. We wanted to take it to Norway for our Norwegian grandchildren. They absolutely loved it - to such an extent that some of the pound notes are now rather dog-eared. A good purchase. Thank you.

My daughter (age 5) and I got bored of this game very quickly. In fact, half way through playing this game for the first time and she wandered off to do something else. Not a good start! Even for her age there wasn't enough choices to make and it is purely down to luck who wins. (On the plus side, it's well made and won't break easily and if the child can stay interested for long enough, it should help with their counting!)
