5.0 out of 5 stars Ignore the other reviews and see for yourself.....
""People are Deaf" would have been a better title for this album. Seems to be a dissing shop the Radio 4. WRONG ! WRONG ! WRONG ! Experimental rock dance with a cold cold heart. Just as they intended." Ignore the other reviews here & see for yourself.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ropey!!
Not bad, not good, Average, occaissionally gripping, powerful in parts, dated in others, a bit jesus jones, a bit blue aeroplanes, could be a hell of a lot punchier, some people say it's a hacienda homage, is it heck as like?, very poor choice of producer, do buy Gotham! though!! thats brilliant and it sounds lovely (DFA rool!!)

1.0 out of 5 stars radio 4, 19 Aug 2004
This review is from: Stealing of a Nation: Limited Edition (Audio CD)
I was shocked by this album; if you're expecting a great follow up to the explosive Gotham! or even the New Song and Dance, then forget it. Radio 4 seem to have lost their edge, and the rawness and vitality found on Gotham! has been replaced by a tedious collection of rock/dance songs. I heard 'Party Crashers' a while ago and wasn't too impressed with it's mediocrity at all I hoped the rest of the album wouldn't be of the same ilk. However, just about every song on 'Stealing Of A Nations' sports the same monotonous 4/4 beat. Basically if you're expecting another Gotham! then do not buy this.
