5.0 out of 5 stars Martin Magic
Have used Martin strings on my Yamaha steel string guitar for many years. They give a good meaty sound and last for years.
They are usually very expensive and the price here is much cheaper than the music shops. These are the genuine article and sound fantastic.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sound quality
These are not the best sounding strings. They also break very easy. Fortunately, the seller was prompt in replacing them. For the beginner or a person who plays very little, these are excellent value. For the dedicated, there are other options.

Martin 80/20 Acoustic Guitar Strings - Bronze Wound (Light, .012 - .054)Martin M170 Extra Light (.010-.047) Bronze Acoustic Strings
I have used Martin Strings for many years & find them extremely good for keeping in tune especially after a few days settling in period which I haven't found with other makers
I play a Martin-00018EC,Freshman-500-Pro series,with Light's & a Fender Telecaster with Extra-light's
Whether playing fingerstyle or plectrum for Blues,Jazz,or Rock you won't be disappointed with the quality--finally I always buy through Amazon because as a general rule Music shops hike the prices for strings & accessories
Hope you find this information of value

When it comes to guitar strings, every player knows that new strings sound the best. They are usually bright and crisp and the guitar delivers a punch most musician's prefer. My Martin strings sound richer than strings of the past and they are very comfortable to play.I bought my pack of Martin's not too long ago,but I truly think these are the best acoustic strings you can buy.

Good quality stings with a nice full sound, the more they break in the better they sound and they keep tune well.

These are great all round acoustic strings and the gauge is perfect for all types of music. I use these and the phosphor bronze sets exclusively, consider doing the same ;)

I have a moderate acoustic guitar and have always been trying out differnet types and thickness of strings and I ordered these strings. They make my guitar sound like a Martin guitar (well almost as Martin acoustic guitars are the best :) ). They are soo rich in sound and make songs just sound better.

Try them out and see for yourself how good they are.

5.0 out of 5 stars My first Martin Guitar Strings, very impressed, 4 Jan 2012
This review is from: Martin 80/20 Acoustic Guitar Strings - Bronze Wound (Light, .012 - .054) (Electronics)
I have had an acoustic guitar for about 3 years, and in that time had never changed the strings, I am very much more interested by electric guitars. However, I've decided to "get into" acoustic more, and my first job was to replace the horrid stock strings on my acoustic. I decided to buy these strings, and after restringing my acoustic with them, I must say the difference is huge. It really feels like a different guitar, these strings are very very good. The tone I get out of them is fantatsic, and they feel very good to play with. Highly reccommended (despite my lack of experience with acoustic strings!!)
