5.0 out of 5 stars Morley Steve Vai Bad Horsie 2 -Near perfect wah pedal!
The Morley Wah 2 has a warm frequency range and is perfect in all musical situations, studio, live and practice.

The switchless design not only makes it easier for the guitarist, but it eliminates possible switch faults that might occur in the future, thus saving you money.

In addition, the second mode "CONTOUR Wah" enables the guitarist to be more...

2.0 out of 5 stars Hum when on the Amazon matched (?) Adaptor
I purchased the Morley Bad Horsie and the associated 9V Morley Bad Horsie 2 Effects pedal power supply adaptor from Amazon some time ago. Unfortunately once plugged in there is an annoying hum from the Amp. The Pedal is in between the guitar and my Line6 Pod. That said the pedal works well with a 9V Battery, producing no hum! While the Bad Horsie info sheet mentions using...

5.0 out of 5 stars Morley Steve Vai Bad Horsie 2 -Near perfect wah pedal!, 15 April 2014
This review is from: Morley Steve Vai Bad Horsie 2-Pedal (Electronics)
The Morley Wah 2 has a warm frequency range and is perfect in all musical situations, studio, live and practice.

The switchless design not only makes it easier for the guitarist, but it eliminates possible switch faults that might occur in the future, thus saving you money.

In addition, the second mode "CONTOUR Wah" enables the guitarist to be more creative if one chooses to meddle with the frequency and level controls of the wah. If this does not suit your needs, the Morley Steve Vai Bad Horsie 1 version of this pedal is all you need for that classic Morley Steve Vai Bad Horsie sound.

2.0 out of 5 stars Hum when on the Amazon matched (?) Adaptor, 19 Sept. 2013

This review is from: Morley Steve Vai Bad Horsie 2-Pedal (Electronics)
I purchased the Morley Bad Horsie and the associated 9V Morley Bad Horsie 2 Effects pedal power supply adaptor from Amazon some time ago. Unfortunately once plugged in there is an annoying hum from the Amp. The Pedal is in between the guitar and my Line6 Pod. That said the pedal works well with a 9V Battery, producing no hum! While the Bad Horsie info sheet mentions using a 9VDC 300 milliamp regulated adapter with Center pin polarity is negative, the box should have come with the correct adaptor included. The Pedal does what it says on the box but with hum. Unfortunately I’m not sure if it was worth the money or what I’m sure will be a lot of hassle trying to find the correct adaptor!

This is a great pedal and one I would always choose for playing live.

The wah itself is actually fairly average IMO and sound-wise it is probably not nearly as good as many others (Vox, Jensen etc ). The feature that makes it stand out above the rest is the way it works. To use it simply move the pedal and it switches on. When you take your foot off it switches off - simple and fantastic for live use.

Bought for a relative, no complaints so far and it appears to be working, (I'm unable to sleep at night thanks to the constant guitar playing...)

As you'll probably know, the Bad Horsie 2 doesn't come with any Power Adaptor, as its supposed to be battery powered. I highly reccomend you purchase an adaptor, you can get them on here for pretty cheap.

Built like a tank. Performs like a dream. If it's good enough for Steve Vai, then it's got to be good!
