Right, now don't get me wrong i love Tony Hawk games, i own all of them! But this game is, well... just not as good. They've tried to be too wacky and it just doesn't work, they should have stuck to the skating, which was best in 2 & 3.
All the stuff riding around doing tricks in wheelchairs is just stupid and no fun because it unrewarding, it's so quick you always bash into the scenery, and it splits up the fun of skating. I get the feeling this is designed to appeal to 12 year old kids who listen to Good Charlotte and go into school on Monday and tell their mates how they totalled Timmy the wheelchair spastic this weekend. In short i didn't bother long with this game i simply put in Tony Hawk 2 and rocked out, old school, it has better: enclosed and less crowded levels, tunes, and playability!
NB. The two game bit where you can play 2 minute sorties like the old games is a good idea, one up on THUG1 anyway. But some of the levels are, again, stupid, a downhill style one with pits! I wanna keep it real! Literally! Bring back School and Venice Beach!

The thing about this game that i particularly enjoy is the aspect of fun in this game. It is very addictive because of the humour involved in it. The story mode this time around is the world destruction tour and you are chosen to go with team hawk or team bam you are on team .... buy the game and see, honestly you will enjoy it. Again there is also lots of skaters to choose to play with on the high score /free skate mode. This game is a must buy

I dont know what elsorbo is ona bout about the last THUG being good but i personally thought it was crap. The driving bits were as lame as hell and the rest of it was nothing special. The overall game was way to short and much to easy.
Now the next game boasts some great new features like creating your own new graffiti tag and spraying it everywhere or sticking your teams stickers everywhere.
The storyline is about Tony Hawk n Bam Margera going on a world destruction tour and you have to pick a side.
You will then travel the world skating as YOU or one of the other members in your team. Even Bams pshyco dad Phil Margera is a playable character!
The graphics have been slightly improved but they still aren't great but let's hope for a much better outing this time from the Neversoft boys.

I bought mine and got all worked up about playing it, and then i found out it didn't work. When it gets to the end of the intro it just freezes. Don't buy this game off amazon. I wasted alot of money on it.

Tony Hawks Underground threw away the rule book on skateboarding games and returned with a fresh aspect. Getting off your board. But, has T.H.U.G 2 done enough to do itself justice?
In a sense, no: The graphics are hazy and slightly worse than it's predessesor; There's little change to the aspects of the game other than graffiti-tag and sticker-slap.
This game feels like a comfortable pair of old trainers, with a fresh new look.
I say this in a good way, as although it has it's downfalls, it's a totally revamped and addictive game.
I already mentioned the new in-game features of the sticker-slap and graffiti-tag but there's more.
Oh yes.
As well as the usual 'create-a...' modes (such as creat-a-skater, create-a-trick, create-a-park, create-a-deck etc.) there's the addition of the 'create-a-tag' mode. You can now personalise your graffiti tag!
Unfortunately, there's no way of personalising your stickers and so you simply have to choose one which best-fits.
There's the whole shebbang of fresh, cripsy, new levels complete with a way to destroy them and totally alter the landscape.
Did I mention projectile throwing?
There's new stars - Steve-o, Phil Margera, wee-man - as well as the usual suspects. And the destruction aspect is by far its' biggest selling point (you can set your board on fire and de-capitate statues!!), what with it being the only major new thing..
Ok, so a few new characters, new levels and a whizzed up 'create-a...' mode, but yet, even with little difference to the previous game, it still manages to reach addictive levels so you'll play 'til your head burns.
Verdict?
Buy it, play it, play it again, but don't expect the 'Hawk' series to venture further than what they already have.
I reckon its' the last, or at least the last good game in the series.
Hezza

This will be the best skating game and driving as well seen as you can drive on the first one. New skaters, new decks, new tricks, new fully explorable levels, a whole new story line and better vehicles and there just has to be better graphics even though Tony Hawk's Underground has the best graphics ever!! The only way a game can beat this is if it is Tony Hawk's Underground 3 or if it is a virtual realality game, now that would be cool. When this game is out it will sell just as good as Grand Theft Auto: Vice City/III.
This Underground thing has started a whole new range for much better explorable skating games with more to come and that already have like Need For Speed: Underground which is really exiting to play on any console well exept for the GBA!
So if your a parent or a kid and wan't to buy a game as a present or for yourself buy This Game and seen as it comes out close to christmas, it's the best time.

I am very dissapointed with this game, I started skateboarding a few months ago and bought this game becasue I was so far very pleased with the Tony Hawk series, especially Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 and THUG1, even though the levels, create a modes and goals are different and good, the gameplay is pretty much the same, that can be a good thing for some gamers, but for me it didn't work, I completed the story mode on sick within 3 days and the Classic mode is a look to the past, but it is fustrating and tedious. Overall a good game for a muck about but will not last 2 weeks.
