Kells at his worste
on 31 August 2004
Dissapointment doesn't come close. This is one of the most boring and monotonous albums i've ever heard and, even worse, its from my favourite R&B artist. Happy People is 'Step in the name of love' re-hashed over and over and u dont realise when one track has stopped and another started. You Saved Me is a little better but every song is religious and you dont want a gospel album if you buy an R Kelly CD.
All in all I wish I wouldn't have bothered buyin it. Like the reviewer above suggests, buy an earlier R Kelly album, not this one. Dont expect anything like the music he has written/produced for other artists recently (eg Marques Houston, Cassidy, ATL). It seems to me that his personal problems have led to him making a safe, uncrontrovertial (and cack) album. Lets hope Best of Both Worlds 2 is a return to form or Usher will soon be the official King of R&B.
