Known for his role in Jaga Jazzist, one of the best post-jazz progressive groups in Europe, this album is fluid, funky and with a cleaner, leaner sound than his big band. Unexpected changes of rhythm, key and soloist keep you listening over and over and still finding new stuff. If you like Nordic Jazz with a lot of inventiveness, go get it.

This album is truly fantastic. I would recomend it to any jaga jazzist fan (being that he is a leading member) and alos to any jazz and classical fans. It is a lot less electronic and more acoustic, and really is at times quiet beautiful. Joker, the single from the album, is the most upbeat of the tracks, but still not as fast as say animal chin, by jaga jazzist.
Overall a modern, beautiful jazz/classical record.
