Ive heard it all before, ive heard it all before!!!
on 1 March 2006
Kind of like a publicity stunt that really did nothing for the poor album sales, Money Cant Buy was basically a re-hashed idea from the people at Madonna inc 2 years earlier. The difference being Madonnas Brixton gig was an original idea with less publicity and with more sense of originality and occassion, the tiny gig caused album sales and Madonna fever to go through the roof in 2000, again! As with Madonnas gig Kylie decided to entertain in a smallish venue open to B list celebrities and lucky competition winners. Kylie was actually present along with Dolce and Gabbana to Madges gig, no Madge here though. To trash it completeley would be unfair the costumes are good, stage set not bad but the set list poor. The best bits are when she sings her old classics and the odd occasional hit from Fever. You just get the feeling shes trying to hard to out do her icon Madonna, all the time, it does however fail. The set list less impressive, the stage set less camp and the costumes below par! Come on Kyles, think of something new! An angry Kylie fan
