TOP 500 REVIEWERon 20 May 2015
If you're a fan of Supergrass, you 'need' to have this excellent deluxe set in your DVD collection quite frankly.

Not only are you able to own the music videos of every single up until 2004 on disc two, which will delight those who also have an interest in 1990s pop culture and nostalgia in general, you also have the cool option of listening to a director's commentary for each, as well as karaoke lyrics if you ever feel like bawling out these catchy Britpop anthems with a group of mates over a few drinks.

On the first DVD, you have something really special, an insightful and informative documentary, which is packed with archive footage (the guys as kids, priceless!), and brand new interviews with Gaz and all the boys. This film tells the story of how the band was formed, and how they went onto take the '90s Britpop scene by storm with their infectious songs, that would very soon become more sophisticated as the song writing improved. Nic, the brother of the band's cool drummer Danny, followed these men around with a camera, enabling us to be able to see them all hanging out together and making their music. The combition of all of this, results in a truly excellent rock documentary that will probably be of some interest to those who don't care much for Supergrass. I completely 'get' these lads sense of humour as well, and so this film was often laugh out loud funny to me.

In short, this DVD equivalent of the greatest hits CD Supergrass is 10 - The Best of 1994-2004, is the perfect visual package for fans. The band might no longer be together, but Gaz continues to progress as a solo artist, and we will always be able to relive the glory days of their wonderful songs via the albums and this DVD.

I already owned this DVD and used it to introduce a friend to Supergrass - now he's a fan so I bought him this as a present.

It's great to put on the videos in the background with friends over - the commentaries are quite amusing too. I love the documentary. It gives me a pleasant sense of nostalgia and even my friend enjoyed it, though he didn't know anything about the band at the time. This is a DVD I can easily watch again and again and it made a great gift.

Having a lot of difficulties in finding this DVD in Spain at a reasonable price, it's been great having it at a bargain price, and in a great condition.

Thanks a lot

It could have a better package. The DVD's were loose inside the cardboard box and the discs were loose inside the DVD box.
