PJ Harvey makes a very welcome comeback with "The Letter," the first single from "Uh Huh Her," the follow up to the Mercury Prize winning "Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea."
Harvey has not made any radical departure from the style of her previous material, but that is not to say that "The Letter" is not a fantastic song. It really is. The allegorical nature of the lyrics and the quirky vocals make this a great choice for a first single.
If you are a fan of Harvey's work, particularly her last two albums "Stories" and "Is This Desire?", I expect that you will enjoy this very much.
