Taking 30 mini-games and the lovely muppet's characters and humour - Muppet's Party Cruise offers by far the best party game on PS2.
The game plays a bit like a board game. You take in turns it play pinball (to roll your dice) and move around different decks of the ship (i.e. the board). Each deck is littered with different coloured doors and behind each door is a different mini-game. Win the mini game and beat all the other players and you win the pirze behind the door. Collect enough of the same coloured prize and you win the game!
The mini-games are fatastic. There's Speed-Bingo, collecting games (collect green eggs on a unicycle in a giant bowl), co-ordination games (drum bashing), racing games (hovercrafts), laugh-out-loud games (tomato throwing at other muppets) and so many more. Each game is diverse and unique and although they are easy enough to pick up and play - they are hard to master.
Although you can only play with 6 of the muppets, many of the others pop up in the game either as non-playable characters or hosting their own games and there's plenty to unlock and do.
I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys having fun gaming and have a mate or two to enjoy it with!

This game is not just for kids, it's for everyone. My father is nearly 60, and I'm 20 years old and we love it. The mini games are great, and the CPU is good at some games for once unlike some games where human players always beat CPU.
Controls are easy to use, some games are easy others are hard which is great.
So much to do, it's not just about collecting "party favours" by winning games, at the end of the game other aspects are totted up, such as longest move, most games won, most games lost etc.
This game is great for killing a few hours, and I've never gotten bored with it.
