Having a sister with £90 worth of GHD (GHDs are expensive hair straighteners, but they really are very good and the standard to which all hair products must aspire to) was always going to be hard to live up to for any hair styling product, but this certainly did the job! I have to say I cannot understand how they can offer this product at this price. Admittedly these straighteners are not quite as impressive as the GHDs, as I still retain some frizz after using them, but this is only very slight and probably due to my bad technique or my curly hair! These straighteners do give a more 'natural' look, as the GHDs can make your hair too straight, whereas these leave more volume in. My advice is if you are serious about hair straightening, the GHDs are worth the money. However, for those who just want a cheap set to get straight hair for this season, or 'for a change', these really are the best around. I personally use them once a week and think they are tremendous!

Having never used straighteners before I decided that, at less than £20, I would give these a go. To be honest when it comes to buying any type of product I am a firm believer in 'getting what you pay for'. Not so with the JML ceramic straightener.
Having long, quite unruly, wavy hair I was amazed at how well this straightener worked it's magic. Extremely easy to use (just plug in, wait two minutes and off you go) and there was no need to go over the same section of hair again and again. One slow glide over each section produced smooth, STRAIGHT, shiny results. As you can probably tell, I am very impressed with this product and would certainly consider buying further products from this company. Congratulations to JML for an excellent product at a fantastic price.

These were used by my hairdresser, and to be honest I wasn't expecting a lot from them. But I have to say they are great. my my curly hair dtaraight in a few minutes without drying it out. on the downside they don't leave your hair that shiny like ghd but hey for 20 quid thry are excellent!!! i would recomend

These straighteners are fantastic for the money, they are real pure ceramic straighteners that heat up to the same temperature as GHD's for only £20 a total bargain!

i bought these after my GHDs exploded as a quick and cheap fix, i wasnt honestly expecting them to be great. but when they arrived i was pleasantly surprised! they heat up just as fast as GHDs and work jsut as well on my hair, for a fifth of the price..strongly recommended!

I bought these straighteners cause i was annoyed with having to keep boring my friends ones. I have naturally just slightly wavy hair with annoying kinks, so i knew i didn't need anything as expensive as GHD's, instead i got the cheapest i could find that still looked pretty alright. I have been satisfied with my buy. If you want to look good with your straighteners these aren't probably the best...they look as if they have tyre tracks on! But these straighteners certainly do the job and for the price you can't go wrong. I'm only talking from someone with quite straight hair though so if u have curly i'm not sure how much use they would be. I did notice a slight burning smell but nothing amounted to it. If u want an decent pair of straighteners for this very reasonable price go for these!

I was very impressed with this product at a tiny priced compared to many other straighteners. They work as well as any other straightener!

My daughter has GHD's but I didn't want to spend all that money so bought these. They seem good for the money although not as good as her GHD's, but then again they don't cost as much.

My big complaint is they do not have an on/off switch so you need to unplug which is a real pain. A good product if you don't want to spend the money on GHD's.

These are my first pair of straighteners and are my lifeline. They work extremely well in flatteing out the natural kinks in my hair. Buy them if you want a the cheapest way to really straight hair!
