What a pity this man will not be doing another album of this quality. Fat Possum must have been thinking they had a successor to RL and Junior, but like a lot of their artists discovered in their later years a number have only made one album and then died (Asie Payton made enough material for two posthumous releases). The opening track is on one of the samplers and that got me interested-this is not as raw as T Model Ford but is every bit as good. Extremely nostalgic as this man was terminally as he made this album-the final track is 'Remember me'-a shame if more people don't buy this.
