5.0 out of 5 stars Another good Installment
This is another good addition to my UNKLE sounds collection. I already have Big Brother is watching u, Do androids Dream of Electronic Beats and their 2 solo albums and i rate them very highly.
This album is 2 discs; the first being a mix from Fabric which has all the tunes that UNKLE love to play in their sets. the second cd is the best one as its james Lavelle and...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but not necessary?
It's not actually a bad album - CD1 live at Fabric is very good, haven't stopped listening to it since I got it, although it's a bit short at 7/8 tracks, CD2 is a very acquired taste, unless you're really into your scratching, you'll hate it. Some bits I love, but some bits just get on my nerves. The thing is, a couple of the tracks on CD1 are on Global Underground 23,...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but not necessary?, 28 Jan 2004
This review is from: Unkle Sounds Wwiii (Audio CD)
It's not actually a bad album - CD1 live at Fabric is very good, haven't stopped listening to it since I got it, although it's a bit short at 7/8 tracks, CD2 is a very acquired taste, unless you're really into your scratching, you'll hate it. Some bits I love, but some bits just get on my nerves. The thing is, a couple of the tracks on CD1 are on Global Underground 23, and a few more will be on Global Underground 26, and as these are both better / going to be better, and have a lot more on them, that kind of makes CD1 a bit of a filler while waiting for GU026 in March.
So what I'm getting at is, unless you want CD2 for the scratching, hang on until Global Underground 26 - from the look of the tracklisting, it's going to be worth it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy if you have the others!!!!, 10 Feb 2004
This review is from: Unkle Sounds Wwiii (Audio CD)
If you have either Do Androids Dream or Big Brother I really wouldn't bother with this. I have Do Androids Dream and know from looking at the tracklisting on Big Brother that its a carbon copy. Not thinking they would churn yet another out again I bought this but promptly took it back as a lot of those UNKLE faves were yet again included. Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan but refuse to be suckered into paying for the same old Ian Brown tunes time and time again. I would save it for the new James Lavelle Global Underground. Bad show!!!

This album is 2 discs; the first being a mix from Fabric which has all the tunes that UNKLE love to play in their sets. the second cd is the best one as its james Lavelle and Scracth perverts live. Awesome tune selection and amazing scratching rounds of the double cd pack superbly.
Another must have for UNKLE fans and i cant wait for James Lavelles new Global Underground CD in march.

4.0 out of 5 stars UNKLE Sounds WWlll, 16 Feb 2004

Cd1: Another classic mix from James Lavelle at Fabriclive, including some of the more frequently used tracks such as FEAR and HEY JACK, however GDMFSOB (feat Roots Manouva) in any mix is worthy of a listen.
Cd2: If you have not heard the UNKLE vs Sratch Perverts session then this is a must have for an aspiring fan. Lavelle, Vegas and Prime Cuts similtaneously remix the classic Psyence Fiction album and present 50 mins of breathtaking beats and effects.
