I have played the game and i am truly shocked at how poor quality this game is. we all have different opinions but my opinion of this game is very poor.
the missions in the campaign are poorly designed and created even though the music slightly offsets the poor game with good music in the background, what i come to expect off digital reality, but these Hungarians have gone backwards, at least 3 of the campaign missions were really screwed up, one where you have no clue what to expect and left with one colony, no additional building types where you had before, an enemy with far more powerful and relentless ships over yours and they keep coming and you also have to build up a force to eliminate several worlds while destroying the enemy battleships and hidden spies that want to blow everything up within a time limit. i mean i tried various strategies, rushing, building up as good as i can, i tried spying but with the equipment i got at level 1 it's impossible to do anything until half way through the time limit and by then it wouldn't make much difference as too much time has passed.
With that said however, before you come to the mission briefing you have to choose your units before that happens so it's like putting the cart before the horse.
The voice acting is also leaves a lot to be desired like the dramatics in the same sense, the graphics are half way good and shoddy in some places, most certainly the character portraits when speaking.
the skirmish mode is alright but really i prefer Imperium Galactica 2 to this game any day. the problem when you create a complex game are the bugs and issues you need to address, ig2 maybe old but for me it works because it's not over-complicated on all sides of the issue like this game.
