Brilliant. Having had the 12 cup cafetiere for lots of years it broke in the washing up. We kept the silver sleeve the glass fits into in the hope of getting a replacement. Checked on amazon and here it is. The dimesions are 18cm height, 12cm diameter but I have seen it described elsewhere with another dimension that includes the spout which threw me.
I see you can also buy replacement filters as well but ours is still going strong

The second image for the product gives dimensions. The picture with dimensions is correct - the beaker is 7.25" high, with a diameter of about 4.3", although I'd say it is closer to 4.5" (NB the diameter is measured across the width of the pot below the slight flare at the top of the pot and the spout, if you measure across the top the slight flare increases the diameter to 4.75", and the internal diameter of the metal frame the beaker is cradled in actually measures as 4.5" on our one). The repeated written dimensions next to the image are incorrectly stated - it says 4.3" tall and 7.25" circumference - these should be swapped round and corrected to state 7.25" tall and 4.3" DIAMETER.

Anyway, as long as your broken glass beaker was a Bodum one and around 4.5" diameter, and a little over 7" tall, the new pot will fit perfectly.

I'm surprised that no reviewer has yet pointed out that the dimensions described here are not correct. In fact the diameter of the 12 cup 1.5 litre Bodum spare glass (Item Number: 1512-10) is diameter 11.7 cm, H 18.5 cm - copied from the Bodum website.

So I wasted quite a bit of time looking for a spare glass 11.7cm diameter on Amazon to fit the metal holder. No immediately apparent way of contacting the seller to query their mistake which is not good customer service!

Does exactly what it says on the tin! At last we can make coffee in the cafetiere again! Measurements do seem to include the spout which did originally cause a bit of confusion, but after cross referencing item no & dimensions with Bodum website I was sure this was the one we needed. And it was! Great price, great service & great product!

These things break and crack too easily. I wonder if is the single grip at the top on some of them? However, this was an ace replacement and good service.

I love my Bodum cafetiere which is why I was gutted when I broke the glass jug part last year but thankfully, you can buy just the part you need - a rarity in these disposable time.

It's identical to the original and does a top job.

This has made my cafetiere with cracked glass useful again; just what I needed. Apart from knowing how to get an accent into my spelling of cafetiere.

Bodum make a good quality replacement beaker. They seem to be stronger than others I have bought before and therefore last longer.

The old glass broke after heavy use over a period of years. This replacement arrived quickly and fits quite comfortably into the frame. However, you do need to get the correct measurements for it before you send off since they are wrongly stated here. They are actually D 11.7 cm, H 18.5 cm.

Anyway, here's hoping for another few years use.

I was looking for a reasonably-sized, straight-sided, glass vessel so I could keep an eye on bread dough rising. This is just large enough for a mix based on about 400g of flour to rise to a little over double size, and fits snugly into our microwave - where I also put a mug of water to provide a little warmth. So far it's been a useful purchase as it's shown that I'd been leaving the dough to rise for too long in the bowl. It's possible that the yeast had used up most of its oomph from the first rise, as the second period of proving often left the final bread a bit more dense than I'd have liked!
