5.0 out of 5 stars An Outsanding Album, 9 Feb 2004
This review is from: Beautiful Lumps Of Coal (Audio CD)
If you have only heard the single track Real you must investigate further into this artist. Plumbs album is outstanding! Plumb rocks with emotion and style.
Beautiful Lumps of Coal opens up with the pacey track Free (an Alanis Morrisette style rocker). All the tracks are excellent and written/produced by the talented singer Tiffany Arebuckle. If you like Sarah Mclachlan/Heart/Avril Lavigne/The Corrs you will love this album.
Standout moments include the power ballad 'Taken' and 'Without You'. Plumb sings out her soul with honest and prevoking lyrics. Her vocals are supported by beautiful harmonies,at times her voice is breathy and other forceful. This is an album for people that like Adult rock. I have had this for 6 months on import and it still sounds fresh and exciting. Plumb is a great new solo artist and sounds excellent live. She has true talent and the ability to stay around in music for years. This artist is one of the most exciting finds of the year. Beautiful Lumps of Coal is a must for those serious about music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Joy to listen to, 25 Feb 2004
This review is from: Beautiful Lumps Of Coal (Audio CD)
Plumb is the newest of the americans to come across to try and conquer britain, and if this album is anything to go by she'll have no trouble. Playing the same type of music as matchbox twenty and the calling the album has everything from the uptempo songs 'Free' and 'Real' to the more mellow 'Nice Naive and Beautiful' and 'Boys Don't Cry'.
This is a must for any decent cd collection.

It's so good to know that you was listing to one of the best bands to hit the UK before they were known. Well that’s what you will be telling everyone soon.
Plumb are in my eyes the greatest band I have heard since music died in 93. If you love groups that use there own voices and write there own songs you will love this album and every song is a treat to listen too. It will be a album you will come back to time and time again.
Plumb you have a voice of a falen Angle.
