5.0 out of 5 stars Fab 5 do it again
I just finished watching the making of the music video that goes with the soon to be released CD and what can I say. The Fab 5 really have done it again. Their show revolves around the premise of making people feel good and every track on the album does that. Not to mention that they have the catchiest opening song around (All things can only get better.) They have the...

3.0 out of 5 stars A slight con...
Were it sold without the TV programme title then this would be an adequately interesting playlist but I bought it having enjoyed the music in the show each week and I darned well expected to hear some of it having shelled out for the album. The first track in particular (All Things (Just Keep Getting Better)) was a disappointment because whilst it is indeed used as the...

5.0 out of 5 stars Fab 5 do it again, 24 Dec 2003

I just finished watching the making of the music video that goes with the soon to be released CD and what can I say. The Fab 5 really have done it again. Their show revolves around the premise of making people feel good and every track on the album does that. Not to mention that they have the catchiest opening song around (All things can only get better.) They have the best of the divas and the darlings contributing to a fantastic mix of music loved by gay and straight alike.

Were it sold without the TV programme title then this would be an adequately interesting playlist but I bought it having enjoyed the music in the show each week and I darned well expected to hear some of it having shelled out for the album. The first track in particular (All Things (Just Keep Getting Better)) was a disappointment because whilst it is indeed used as the shows theme tune this is a version never played during the series and it sounds different and worse! I feel ripped off quite frankly but as I said: it's still a good album just not a lot to do with the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Queer Eye for the under 40s guy., 19 Feb 2004
This review is from: Queer Eye For The Straight Guy [Us Import] (Audio CD)
I give this 5 stars for the theme music alone. Just had to get it. Of the rest I'm trying to let it grow on me. I'm sure the younger crowd must love it. Glad it's got the Elton track though and the video is fab. Queers of the UK unite and buy this album. Let's get it into the compilation chart, then maybe Channel 4 will pick up the series and give it a wider audience.

I have to admit, that I bought this cd purely for the new Duran song - but what an excellent choice. I will defy anyone not to be tapping their feet at the least! It's so funky! This will get you bopping anywhere, on the train to work, in the car, at home doing the washing up! It would cheer up the dulliest of days - It's a must, get buying!!

A really excellent collection and new and well known trax. The title song from the show really rocks and as the cd progresses it just keeps on rocking. Trax by Jamelia, Sting, Kylie and Elton mix well with new artistes - a really uplifting and wicked dance album.
