A 'GLOVE', 20 May 2004
which simply fits neatly over a metal handle.
Approx. Size 17 cm long x 6 cm wide.
This is a handy little item which takes up very little space in the linen drawer, and sensibly priced it is one of those items that once you have one........you simply cannot do without it!
Much more practical than a bulky oven glove with a hot pan handle.
From the care label, stitched inside:-
100% Cotton Canvas and Terry Towelling
100% Nylon Steam Grease Lining
Complies with BS:6526/1998
Treated with Teflon® Fabric Protector
Machine washable up to 40°C/Short Spin
Made in China
Complete with hanging hook.
Supplied in a sealed pack.
Available in a variety of colours, to coordinate with the aprons and regular-sized oven glove range.
As a footnote, the handle glove is a really useful and inexpensive 'extra' to give with an Omelette Pan, as a present for the chef who already has everything!

Much needed, 10 Jul 2009
Had bought some solid handle frying pans without considering the problem of heat absorption. This stops the problem and can also be used as a mini oven glove for lifting off pans lids etc.

No Size Stated - beware, 12 Dec 2006
I thought this would be ideal for my mother... Expecting it to be of similar size to an oven mitt/oven pad, with a decent price I purchased... but found on delivery the item is 18x8 cm. It is a PAN HANDLE COVER, not a oven pad as picture suggests.
I am truely not happy with this purchase and am returning to Amazon with details of my disappointment.

great for protection against the heat of griddle hanldes, however has be be removed between use on hob as heat from hanlde and gas can cause it to catch fire!!!

I love this little glove made to fit Le Creuset handles.
It is well made with good materials and well stitched.
At times I have unwittingly grabbed the hot handle of
my pan, and using this product means I will not make
that mistake again.
I highly recommend it along with Le Creuset Silicone Multimat, Red,
this product has multiple uses including using as an
oven glove.
So when it comes to lifting heavy Le Creuset cast iron,
these products work great together.
