I cannot fault the brush heads or the toothbrush, but on this occasion the replacement brush heads did not arrive as pictured in a twin pack but arrived individually in an envelope. Not exactly hygenic!!!

I disagree with the review somone has left regarding this product. I have used a Sonicare toothbrush for a few years now, and as a result never need to see the hygienist at the denists. No scale build-up, thanks to Sonicare. I used a previous model, which used larger heads, and when that failed, purchased a new model. I find the slimmer handle of the head good to reach the 'difficult to reach' places, and they have continued to do as good a job as earlier models. I don't regret my purchase of a Sonicare, it has saved me a fortune in dentist bills!

I bought these items from a Amazon Market place supplier (Pharmacy Place) and they were not supplied in the original clam pack, just in a small open plastic bag. I do not think this is a reasonable way to ship what should be a sterile product. So I suggest you buy these from somewhere else

Very happy with these brush heads. Work perfectly with my HX 7500 series toothbrush. Not cheap, but worth it.

I have used the Philips Sonicare range for more than 10 years and have been very happy to have that dentist feel every time. Yes, the newer heads are thinner, that's called 'research and development'. The new, smaller head means you can easily reach all teeth, including back ones. Remember, you don't apply tons of pressure with any electric toothbrush, so although this one is leaner, it doesnt mean it will break easily, it won't.
I totally ignore the beep noise telling you 30 seconds has passed, the longer you use it the more benefit you'll get. I use mine for 4 minutes, then rinse mouth 3 times with water. Leave as much fluid as you feel comfortable with in your mouth as this is the whole point of sonic waves, it passes through the liquid. I'm 39 years old and have no fillings or dental work of any kind. I eat what I like and know this toothbrush will save the day. I floss every few days and use mouth wash once a week, I also take Q10 supplements #60 mg a day# which has been proven to help gum disease. Another reviewer here said 'wouldn't do the job as you expected', this tells me this person has never used it before. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

Hard To Find!,

I have an early Sonicare model and found it hard to get replacement heads in local shops. This was just what I was looking for and arrived in super-quick time!

Sonicare products will never be renowned for cheapness, but having said that, they are extremely efficient. The dentist compliments me on my oral hygiene!

We have had the Elite toothbrush for 18 months and are on our 3rd set of toothbrush heads - we change the heads after 6 months use, which seems about right. We have had no problems whatsoever with our toothbrush or with the replacement heads. Both are good quality and efficient. Highly recommended.

They work and they last,

Have to agree with later reviewers. They last six months and they do an incredible job on the cleaning front. Unlike some other users I have had no issues with reliability on the 7000 series toothbrush either - and mine is three years old now.
My only reservation is with the price of these things. They surely do not cost so much to produce that £20 is justifiable. However, looking at it another way, a pack of two lasts a year so it's not so much more than standard brushes. |
