RCA released "Elv1s - 30 Number 1 Hits" album over one year ago. It was really succesful Elvis release: It went straight to # 1 position on the Billboard 200 Chart being #1 for 3 weeks! And it sold more than 9 million units Worldwide. All tracks were remixed by using original tapes. And now to celebrate that unique album RCA will release "E1 - Deluxe Edition". This 2 album set will offers on the second disc tracks, which are released previously only by Follow That Dream record label, which sells rare Elvis records to hard-core Elvis fans only! There are also "In the Ghetto" (Elvis' vocal only) track, which was relesed only in "E1's" DVD-Audio version and an extended remix of "A Little Less Conversation" song.

Any item about Elvis is always going to be a bestseller. It's nice to have all his No. 1 singles together on one albums although some of his songs obviously don't feature. If you're an Elvis Fan this is an absolute must.

This is a great double c.d from the King. It is really difficult to pick a standout song because there are so many. From rockers like Jailhouse Rock , Hard Headed Woman , A Big Hunk Of Love , Too Much and Hound Dog to ballads such as Love Me Tender , Don't , Are You Lonesme Tonight , Can't Help Falling in Love and The Wonder of You. Throw in some 60's pop , Good Luck Charm , His Latest Flame , Return to Sender , She's not You , Devil in Disguise. C.D One starts with a bang , Heartbreak Hotel and finishes with a bang , Way Down. C.D Two is made up of alternate takes and reharsals of some of Elvis' most famous songs and is good for purists who like to hear different takes of songs. With a a toal track listing of 45 songs , this release is excellent value for money.I can thoroughly recommend it.

Being a young fan of rock 'n' roll, I'm ecstatic that they're re-releasing the ELV1S album with a bonus disk. Fankyavurymuch!!!
In the same way that the Beatles' 'Anthology' series highlighted their brilliance with various unheard takes on their most famous songs, the bonus disk of this deluxe edition shows a side to the great man that many of us have never heard. The rehearsals of 'Heartbreak Hotel' and 'In The Ghetto' trully show what a immense talent Mr Presley was. His vocals haunt through the takes like the ghost of rock 'n' roll, but amazingly the quality of the bonus disk is brilliant considering these sound clips were recorded on basic equipment. Anyone who thinks Elvis was just a hillbilly American who was just in the right place at the right time - THINK AGAIN!! He was a one-off, a true legend, with a voice that could be both energetic and heartwarming. The slower songs on the bonus disk, like 'Way Down', demonstrate his brilliance.
And as for the first disk, do I need to say any more? 'Hound Dog', 'Jailhouse Rock', 'Are You Lonesome Tonight?', 'Suspicious Minds'..............
This is a must for any fan of Elvis, rock 'n' roll, or just dectn music. If you have the original compilation album, dispose of it this instant and buy this. It's Now Or Never....
