i was always a fan of classix nouveaux, especially this album.had it on vinyl for over 30 years and with my record player finally giving up the ghost decided to but the cd version.it comes nicely packaged with a fold-out inner, which includes lyrics, photo and some background info, but its the actual re-mastering that's so impressive with this release.all the songs sound so much better, sounds ive never heard are now audible.inside outside sounds superb, sals voice on guilty nearly blew my speakers!!a real fine package. wouldn't hesitate in recommending this to anyone who had the original album.well done cherry red records on a superb release.

I loved this when I was a teenager and hadn't heard it for ages. Some albums you remember fondly from more simple days but when listening again it just doesn't feel the same. However this seems to retain the feel of the era without sounding quite as dated as some 80s production.

Classix Nouveaux were formed from ex-members of X-Ray Spex and the very distinctive looking and sounding Sal Solo. They produced some great singles and maybe surprisingly, some great albums too. Night People is the debut and this version also wraps up the earlier singles Robot's Dance and Nasty Little Green Men as bonus tracks alongside the b-sides.

Guilty is still a great track and Or A Movie is a poignant song of coping with loneliness. The other singles released from the album besides Guilty, Tokyo and Inside Outside are also good value.

As the track says Every Home Should Have One. Buy, remember, enjoy!

An excellent album and the best they did by a long way all good tunes but my stand outs are Or a Movie , No Sympathy No Violins and 623 , but certainly worth a purchase and you will not be disappointed.
