It's that time of year again - the sun is shining, and we're back off to Ibiza with the guys from Hed Kandi! This CD showcases the laid back grooves that we've been enjoying all summer, but without all the obvious hits from Ministry and Co which get old after about five minutes!
The CD starts with a great new track from the Ananda Project - Kiss Kiss, which sets both the form and tempo for the rest of the disk, which takes in the wonderful Solamente, by Light 4 Lines, and Surrender Your Love, by Jask. Other highlights include Safe, by the ever great Bonnie Bailey, and Moving On, by Miguel Migs.
There's no let up in quality when we reach disk 2, starting with the new one by the Kandi in house band Fac 15 - Blue Skies. The second track on this disk is by the ever popular Late Night Alumni, namely Empty Streets - this is without a doubt one of my favourite tracks on the CD, definately bound for future classic status. Another highlight of the disc is Tina Arena's vocal on The Roc Project's Never (Past Tense), which will be packing them in all year if there's any justice! :) We also get this year's wonderful Hard Soul Together track, which you've heard, even if you don't know it yet! The double pack draws to a close with the anthemic "Diamond Life", and with a very early Beach House track by A Man Called Adam.
If you're only even slightly into House music, you owe it to yourself to order this CD now, then get yourself a long drink and take in the sounds of the summer!

Fourth in the Beach House Series, and its great. As always I never know any of the songs, so its always with trepidation that I buy the CD.
Its not too chilled, but its not Disco Kandi either. There are some great songs, Organic Audio and Rodamaal on Disk 1, The Roc Project and Volta on Disk 2 are current faves.
Beach Kandi 3 was nice, but a bit too latin tingued for my liking. These tunes are great mid paced dance tracks.
Bring on the new Disco Kandi CD at the end of August

Picture this.......sun is shining, you are laying back on a sun lounger with a cool cocktail, a slight summer breeze is blowing and Beach House is playing on your CD. Close your eyes and you drift away with the beats of the tunes.
A chilling calming CD with a upbeat tone and mixture of music to keep you going. There is no need to skip the tracks, each song is individual and pleasing to hear.
The CD is not as upbeat or as disco as the last Beach House, but in my opinion is an excellent CD that can be played time and time again without getting bored.
Well done Hed Kandi for an excellent adition to my collection.

Well here it is again, One year on since the last Beach House and still getting better. This is the one CD I have been waiting for in 2003 and I can say that the wait was well worth it. This CD is Pure Perfection. Kandi just keep on bettering them selfs with every production. If you like funky, vocal, latin influenced house then this is for you. You can tell that the guys at Hed Kandi put a lot of time and effort into this CD and the result is blinding. I would recomend this to anyone. Its just one of those kick back, feel good CD's. It truly is the soundtrack to the summer.
BYE IT NOW!!!!!!!

Great compilation by Hed Kandi with K&M's gorgeous "Pink is the Colour" and Volta's "Never been kissed" my standout tracks. It is not as full on as "Disco Kandi" but it holds itself back nicely and for good music to listen to on a Summer's day this takes some beating!

I have been a keen purchaser of Hed Kandi's more dance-oriented offerings and purchased this Beach House offering on a whim - and it has not been far from my CD player ever since! Lush, funky and sublime all rolled into one. Every track a nugget - just when you think it can't get any better the next track arrives to blow you away and lift your spirit even higher! In an age when dance music is dominated by the dark, negative rantings of Eminem et al, thank heaven for Hed Kandi to remind us what music is all about.

A typical Hed Kandi style CD. Not a bad selection if you're looking to expand your music library.
