This is a remarkable find. Viva Voce are a married duo from the USA who make quite beautiful, lo-fi epics. The tunes on this album are both sprawling and quirky, and occasionally delves into shoegaze territory. When I first heard it, I thought it had the fuzzy magic of The Kills, but that's not Viva Voce's style, they are a great deal lusher. This album reminds me of a less floaty Joy Zipper, but ultimately is a gem of a record. For 15 songs, there is very little filler. Guitar based, but with interesting electronics, this album is worth investigating.
