This is an excellent albumn Branch takes a big step up from The Spirit Room, and delivers on the promise that shone in parts of that albumn, which i admit had left me vaguely disappointed and bored in parts. Hotel Paper, is more mature, her voice is better and i think its production and lyrics are superior too. Its an excellent second record and the future for her looks very bright

I took a chance on this album after hearing "Everywhere" in the film "Legally Blonde", and I'm so glad I did. This is one of the best albums I own; every song is amazing. "The Game Of Love" is undeniably catchy, while "It's You" is incredibly moving. The worst song is "Why You Love Me Like That", and even that is miles better than some mainstream artists' songs. I would definately recommend this album to anyone who likes pop, soul or alternative music.

The great Indie artist has done it again. Hotel Paper is one of the albums of the year. No one can disrepect Michelle Branch anymore after her second smash album. Unlike The Spirit Room, Hotel Paper shows how much Michelle settled in the music industry as her songs are much more mature than tracks in The Spirit Room. I'd give this album 5/5. Michelle Branch rulez!

Hotel paper is a superb album by the very talented Michelle Branch. some fantastic songs on this album such as "empty handed", "breathe" and "love me like that" which sheryl crow makes a contribution towards. This album is fresh enlightment to the other artists who don't write their own music, its well worth a listen

this album is not as good as her first, but its a decent second album. the best song on the album is probably are you happy now and breathe, which are the stand out songs. she's defninitly shown she is a lot older than before and her voice is quite different from before. she's definitly impressed me.

Michelle's follow up to "Spirit Room" is just as good. A luke-warm mix of slow songs and powerful up-beaters provides an enjoyable listen. Her duet with Sheryl Crow is simply awesome, while my other fave's include "Find Your Way Back" and "Breathe." I only have on thing left to say - buy this record!

Michelles second major album, hard to believe, but this cd is even better than the previous "The Spirit Room". Written at only age 19, this album proves Michelle is wiser than her years.
Intro- strange but interesting.
Are You Happy Now- Debut single from the album, very grungy rock style.
Find your way back- Catchy indie/pop song.
Empty Handed- Again back to the grungy rock.
Tuesday Morning- A mature and soulful song.
One of these days- Michelle wrote this in less than 10mins! But it doesnt show from the song.
Love me like that- An amazing duet with Sheryl Crow.
Desperatley- Another amazing indie song.
Breathe- My personal fave from the album, its a fun and catchy song.
Where are you now- Excellent and amazing stuff. You really have to hear this album.
Hotel Paper- Lovely song. Slows the pace of the album slightly.
Till i get over you- This song contains french lyrics, need i say more?
Everywhere- if u havent heard this, where have u been?
Game of Love- A duet with Santana, can this album GET any better?
Its You- A sweet song to round off the cd.
You have GOT to buy this cd, its fantastic.

This album is pretty kool.... and you are most probably reading this review as you'v heard the song "Are you happy now" which is, without a doubt a brilliant song. the rest of the album is good as well... it's something that you can listen to and not get bored of.... so it's recommended!

This is a fantastic album, Michelle is in her element. My only criticism is that my CD produces a background clicking noise throughout a number of the tracks. I have experienced this when playing the CD on a number of normal players, I may just have a problem disk though.
