I've been listening to Debussy for nigh on 30 years, I have various versions of his works. But, nothing like this. Noriko Ogawa brings his music to life, she is technically brilliant and has the gift of life in her fingers. The album breathes in and out, and you with it. Moments of pure joy ensnare you, you can't break free, you wouldn't want to. You are there, so involved that you stop everything else you might be doing. The recording is magical, (this is from BIS), the notes informative and the overall production first class. Forgive the superlatives, when you hear it you'll know what I mean. What are you waiting for?
