5.0 out of 5 stars Now, That's What I Call Entertainment, Vol.2!, 6 Feb 2004
This review is from: The Dukes Of Hazzard: Volume 2 - General Lee Collection [DVD] (DVD)
Better selection of episodes than the previous -early summer- collection, The Dukes of Hazzard are back with another DVD which include such classics as "Double Sting", "Duke Of Duke" and "Follow That Still". By the time those lines are written, there are strong indications of a U.S. release (region 1 encoding) of the intire 7 year-run catalogue, even those episodes in which the original stars Tom Wopat and John Schneider are replaced with look-alike performers! Warner Bros neither put a comment on that yet nor thinking of a European-region 2 version. In addition, Dukes of Hazzard funs must protest about the way this tv series is mistreated: DVD offers mono instead of stereo sound, no subtitles at all, practically no extra features - unless some poor lines and photos are considered 'extras'! Even these facts do not eliminate at all the great value of this production and the appetite for MORE releases in the near future! I strongly recommend this purchase for the joy, smile and hapiness that will bring to you Bo & Luke Duke, Uncle Jessie, "General Lee" and the best "bad-guys" comedian duo in the history of television, Boss Hogg And Sheriff Roscoe! YES, Now That's What I Call Entertainment, Vol.2! To be continued (I HOPE!!!)...
