This Yomega brain yoyo is a targeted at complete yoyoing beginngers (people who either can't throw a sleeper or can't return one). It's an auto returning transaxle yoyo with a modified imperial shape. The yoyo incorporates a clever centrifugal clutch where upon is throw hard enough with good technique the yoyo disengages the transaxle meaning the yoyo spins at the end of the string. Automatically upon it slowing down (up to about 15 seconds) it'll come back up to your hand.

This probably gives you enough time to do some well practised picture tricks (jamacian flag, effiel tower). But will likely also result in injured fingers if it auto returns before you expect. The brave can dissemble it and remove the o-ring to make it less responsive.

It's very easy to do some looping tricks with and even around the world with practise.

This yoyo has a very sturdy build, feels solid and tough probably could take a lot of abuse. It is quiet attractive looking in the more vibrant colours, mines dark green/olive which is quiet handsome but I think I'd prefer a brighter colour.

Apart from being great fun unless you are a true beginner (and even if you are) this isn't for you. It doesn't provide enough room for improvement.

Pros:
Cheap
Sturdy
Very beginner friendly

Cons:
You will quickly out grow it
Can't do string tricks

Tricks you can do with this: sleeper, gravity pull, walk the dog, creeper, jamacan flag, effiel tower.

What you shouldn't do: any string mount tricks or prepare for broken fingers. pop the clutch or get a face full of yoyo!

Overall, good quality yoyo for a true beginner or a interested child.

2.0 out of 5 stars Solidly built but off balance and poor string, 27 July 2012

Immediately upon starting to use the yo-yo I observed that the string is of very poor quality, and more seriously the yo-yo itself is unbalanced, preventing me from getting enough speed to get the clutch to disengage.

Or possibly the clutch is stuck. It seems solidly built, but an off-balance yo-yo rather defeats the object doesn't it.
