This is the latest from Charlie, October 2015. If you loved "Kitchens of Distinction" from 2009 you'll for sure love this one for sure. 14 music tracks all very strong.
Fantastic writing from Terry Thomas, great musicianship, contemporary and very well produced.
Hasn't left my cd player in the vehicle since I purchased it and play it once a day.
If you're a fan, then this is a must. Absolutely fantastic.

This album has a few very good tracks and there is some impressive guitar work. The opening track is OK but things only get moving about half way through.Personally,I could have done without all the swearing and a track slagging off Kerry Katona. If you bought the original Polydor albums on vinyl you will hear some of the old magic on this offering, but not very often.

Agree with the reviewers of this on Amazon.com (see theirs for more details) this is energetic, guitar and synth driven 80's up tempo rock that I really enjoyed. A bit different to earlier effort "No Second Chance" which sounded a little more sophisticated, even at times a little like Supertramp possibly, but this is a good listen for fans of the 80's style of commercial rock music. I've only got three of theirs including the previously mentioned and the release before this "Here Comes Trouble" which is pretty commercial stuff also, but not quite as good as this. Check out the song This Time and see if you don't find a similarity to Steve Winwood's "If You See A Chance", but still a great song in its own right. I had no idea they had so many albums out so looking forward to one day owning more.
Footnote: I think the track listing on Amazon uk is incorrect for this album unless its some kind of different release.

Our Terry has become an angry man, I am not surprised considering the amount of great songs he has written over the years that should have been million sellers. This is more rock based than old Charlie stuff, probably even more than Kitchens of Distinction. Once saw them at a college in London with only 8 fans, but they deserved a million times that. The production and the guitar playing are excellent .
Particularly like Make It Real , and Hey Dude, but that may be because they have more of a hook on the chorus.
Terry is not afraid to tell it as he sees it, and its great to hear him performing again.
He was such a good songwriter, he gave away some great songs to Bad Company and Tommy Shaw. Well worth a listen
