5.0 out of 5 stars Leonard Rossiter at his best
This series goes beyond the initial themes and catchphrases that made the first 2. Here Reggie is absolutely bonkers, his commune idea goes beyond the initial antics of creating Martin Wellbourne etc.. Thoroughly enjoyable series, british humour through and through.

2.0 out of 5 stars A series too far
I have to disagree strongly with previous review. The first 2 series were comic genius and I love them dearly but this series should never have happened. The story cycle was complete when everyone followed Reggie into the sea in series 2 and it should have been left at that.
This series felt forced, contrived and is a blot on the reputation of the show as a whole.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rossiter at his best......again!, 19 Jan. 2001
By A Customer
Rossiter's last series as R.I.Perrin and he breaks all comedy boundaries yet again, the commune is sublime and ridiculous, the chef (McBlain) is incoherrant, and the culmination of this is anarchy presided over by Reggie.
This is a must buy for lovers of intelligent comedy
